The evolution of August Bridge

Today, a new chapter begins at August Bridge with the introduction of ‘The A to B of Output’. Everything has evolved from our logo to our website, all encompassing the new branding for August Bridge.

David Formby, Director at the marketing agency, IvyJack, who we have been partnered with since August Bridge was established in 2020, said: “We had initially worked with August Bridge when they approached us to work in partnership with them on developing a strong visual identity for their brand to solidify their standing in the Netherlands and also by way of introducing them to the UK market. So pleased with the results were they, that as part of their organic development and growth, they approached us later to refresh their visual identity.

“There were lots of initial concepts but we kept coming back to the direct approach August Bridge have to getting their clients from where they are to where they want to be with their output management expertise. The answer had actually been staring us in the face -and we finally saw it. We created their single proposition: The A to B of Output. A simple but clever solution to letting customers know what August Bridge do, whilst also using the initials of the company as another reference point.

“Using a 3D imagery maintained their sense of maturity and the colour palettes allowed them to continue to stand out from competitors in the sector. Rods were created to represent the most direct path/journey that August Bridge take their customers on, and the discs represented the start and end points of that journey.

“We also felt the existing logo was out of step with their new visual identity and we were requested to rethink this. We did with a set of elegant shapes based on the rods and discs, creating a wholly cohesive identity that enables August Bridge to continue on their own journey of growth and development.”

Along with an entirely new look and feel to everything within August Bridge, clear mission and vision statements, plus core values have been introduced for our organisation.
