August Bridge launches Electronic Document Exchange v2.0

Electronic Document Exchange by August Bridge v2.0, introduces the Customer Service Portal, together with new features for e-mail delivery, PDF conversion, and manual processing.

August Bridge is pleased to announce the launch of Electronic Document Exchange v2.0 (EDE v2.0). The latest release sees the introduction of the Customer Service Portal, along with additional features for e-mail delivery, PDF conversion, and manual processing to support organisations using Microsoft Dynamics FSCM requiring compliant document exchange through Peppol.

The Customer Support Portal (CSP) provides users with direct access to supported document exchange activity outside Dynamics 365 FSCM while Dynamics remains the core business-process and posting context. Users can review sent and received transactions, document status and validation results, tenant and participant information, user account details, and the receiving capabilities of network participants and trading partners. In addition, the new dashboard view gives teams a clear overview of document activity.

Alongside the CSP, EDE v2.0 introduces:

  • E-mail Delivery supports enforced or fallback e-mail for customers requiring structured invoices where Peppol is not the applicable route. Using Microsoft Graph API and Entra ID App registration, EDE can send from the customer’s own tenant.
  • PDF Conversion creates a human readable PDF representation of Peppol documents.
  • Manual Processing allows Peppol invoices to be processed manually using print management configuration at document, customer, or transaction level.
